If it weren't for the previous butchering of the factory frame, I would probably not consider a swap. To be fair, the welder may have known exactly what he was doing, and may not have even finished, but as is it just does not look safe, so something has to change.

I like the 3/4 ton truck, since my bride can use it to haul her horse trailer, which is something that fell out of her mouth as soon as she seen the craigslist ad!

She has always liked the style of the fat-fendered trucks, more so than the 1969 C30, dually flatbed she uses now.

So what I heard when she said that was, "You can get two trucks!!"

Enjoying reading through the threads and seeing the pictures.
