locking fuel cap
how can i break into my fuel tank? it has the locking cap, and in the three years of being moved around and such i lost the key, i will buy a new cap anyways so what is the best way to do it? if i rememebr the lock turn two tabs the slide intot he lip of the tank, and thats what locks it? could i just drill it? or should i have a locksmith open it?

Call a locksmith. No sense trying to "break" into your tank when it's cheap enough to have it done without damage to the sealing surface.

A professional locksmith will open your gas cap in a minute or two. I know from experience.

Just hammer a flat blade screwdriver into it as far as it'll go then turn it somehow. You'll get it.
