wheel offset size choices?
I am about to get my cab off the chassis and will be putting it on an S10 chassis.
I have been looking at used wheels 18"-20" camaro and noticed the offset is +??. Is there another 5-120mm bolt Chevy car I could look at to find a 0 or Neg. offset to get the wheels a bit wider? |

Re: wheel offset size choices?
Google search s10 front wheel offset chart. From all of my research you do want to keep around a 0 to +5 offset on the front, the rear will just depend on what rear you are using, if you want to run spacers, wheel size, etc. I'm going to be running 20x8.5 up front with 4.75'' back space. It's going to be tight. 8 inch wheel with 4.5 backspace would give a little more clearance on the back side.
Another thing you will want to consider though is that 5x4.75'' is actually 120.7 on the metric pattern. Most new camaro's are 120mm. They will probably fit, but won't be the correct bolt pattern. There is a big debate on this with 5x4.5 also and 114.3mm but thats another story. |
