86 GMC Power Steering bolt missing. What size is it?

In the picture....
Power Steering Pump.

The right bracket is show. Or Driver side. Cant See the Screw i need. lol But its suspose to have one over there.

Im missing the bolt on the passengers side bracket.

Anyone know the thread count? Size of the bolt .

Im so clueless to where it went.

But there are 3 bolts holding it on. Right side bracket is attacked to the bolt thats on the manifold. Top one is connected to the block and the passengers side has a bracket with a screw that im missing.

Any help is apperciated. Thanx.

Oh and how the freak do you get the ride side of the bracket on the manifold stud? jebus not enough slack to put it over the top of the bolt.

is there something that losen the pulleys or am i mad n00b?

Im missing #1.

#2 looks snapped of but idont think it matters.

You should really consider proof-reading your posts before you submit them. I could barely follow the sentences, and it was way too confusing to try and make sense of. The only help I can offer at this current time, is the bolt sizes should be 3/8 X 16

Thats what they all are on the front of the motor, when dealing with accessories.. Except for the alternator tension bolt. I think its metric or something.

3/8 x 16 is a coarse threaded bolt. 16 is the thread count, which, if memory serves, is 16 threads per inch.

Fine threaded 3/8 would be 3/8 x 24, if I remember correctly. As for the length, you're on your own! Somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.25 to 1.5 inches

i went and bought one of them. not big enough it acts like its screwing in then you pull on it and it comes right out.

btw how do you tighet the power steering belt? its 18 degrees outside i dont wanna sit out there for 2 hrs trying to figure it out.

stripped? I know damn well the accessory bolts arent 7/16 or 1/2"

as for tightening the PS belt, there is no sense in talking about that until you get the pump bolted to the engine. one step at a time!

on a happier note, your digital camera takes xlnt pictures. What kind is it?

It actually takes 1600x1200 but i gotta reduce em for the forums,

But its a DSC-P51

Digital Sony Camera model #p51\

ya can get one of them on ebay for 150 or less on ebay.

is the #2 bolt i demestrated on the pic critical? because it aint gonna freakin screw it, its snapped off.
