Wide 15" steel wheels
Where can I get wider than stock 15" steel wheels? I like the look of the steelies ans the dog dish hubcaps. What's the price on these too?

Re: Wide 15" steel wheels
The widest I've seen are 15x8 and those are hard to find. There was somebody on here that was starting to custom make them. I'll see if I can dig up the thread.

Re: Wide 15" steel wheels
You can find them at the wrecking yards if you search long enough. Occasionally a board member here sells some. Swap meets.
I'll post a link to a place that indicates they sometimes stock them. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the GM wheels. http://classicchambered.com/classic/wheels.html

Looks like it's Midunes who is building cistim Steelies with 4 nubs for dog dishes. Here is that thread.

Re: Wide 15" steel wheels
^^^ Wheels are for drum brake. I read Midunes' thread, but it stopped in December before he got them done and powder coated. Has anyone heard more on these?

Re: Wide 15" steel wheels
Those 20 series are sized for the 3/4 ton hubcap so too large for the 1/2 ton.

They can also build 16" wheels with the 15" centers.

Re: Wide 15" steel wheels
I just purchased this blazer it has 15x8 steelies.. 4nub clears discs.. To me they stick out too much with 33x12.50 bfg's. Could they be aftermarket?

Re: Wide 15" steel wheels
I'm personally not sure from that angle. Can you post a straight on showing the face with a hubcap removed. Could tell better.
