vent window pivot rivet
does anybody know were to get he pivoting rivets for a 70 c10 vent window? i can't find the online. i looked on lmc truck and theres a vent window repair kit but it doesn't say what comes in it.

i live in houston so theres plenty of hardware stores around i checked orielys and they only sold pop rivets

Bought my kit from GMCPauls, enough for both windows. You only get 2 of the pivot rivets and 26 small ones.

Got mine from classic parts. They work well but having a helper can make a huge difference.

Classic Parts has what you need part# 03-831 are the rivets, while part#03-835 is the tool needed to set the rivets. I have done these several times, and the vents need to be out of the truck to do properly.

wow guys thanks for all of yalls help i found the rivets and the tool to put it on at classic parts. johndeere thanks for the part number that made it real quick.
mike, thanks for offering to send me some of your custom rivets. I'm sure you worked hard on them and your a great guy to send me some of your hard work |
