Looks like a good deal. Says it's 195HP...can produce 260? What upgrades are required?

Back in school we used to get the GM crate 190hp sbc, top it with a 6-71, and run em til they blew then swap em under warrenty. They were $990 then.

Figures....I too have watching this since they were on sale for $1280. They have been at $1504 for months! Broke down and just finished this last night ! Ugh !!!

Mine showed up today, looks good but still in the crate. Very well packaged. Looks like the price went back up today or yesterday, but still cheaper than most of the last year. $1450 now.

I had one in my 69. I had plans and parts to do a Vortec head swap. Along with a Comp Cams 268h bumpstick. Didn't happen though. Sold the truck and the parts separately.
