One Piece Products back window problem

Has anyone had any problems putting in the flush back window? I don't know much about putting in glass but the video makes it look pretty simple so I gave it a shot. My problem is that it seems like my cab is just not flat enough all the way around for it to glue right. It took a lot of pressure to keep it touching especially towards the center and I couldn't keep pressure in every spot. Putting masking tape on it was just laughable. So now I'm wondering if I'm retarded or if it just won't work on my truck. When the truck is finished I'm going to have to take it to a glass shop to get it done right or replaced with the old style window. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had problems.

Thanks in advance,
Matt
