Rubber Cab Mounts Question/Rant
I want rubber cab mounts for my C20 build. I have searched for way too long to find some, as most suppliers only want to carry and push Poly mounts by bad mouthing the use of OEM Rubber. It's a personal choice and I am tired of reading from all the Poly Pushers that rubber is inferior and cracks.
I found a set of rubber radiator and cab mounts, but they not only cost three times as much as Poly, but they want nearly 20% more to ship a small box of rubber parts! I'm all for making a profit, but nearly $30 shipping... seriously?! RockAuto is shipping (4) KYB Shocks and (4) hinge pin repair kits for $10!!! That being said, those of you who have used suppliers for RUBBER radiator and cab mounts, and were satisfied with the product and vendor, who have you used? Names or links would be appreciated. If I have to bend over and grab my ankles to get RUBBER mounts, then so be it, but I am hoping there is a reasonable supplier out there.

Re: Rubber Cab Mounts Question/Rant
DownLowHoe,
Thanks for the referral... I have to decide if $32.50 to ship a flat rate box of rubber mounts from California to Oregon is worth it. After spending many years helping Fortune 500 company's in the Consumer Products trades develop their pricing strategies, whenever I see a company take the lazy way out and charge shipping based on a percentage of the sale, rather than true shipping/handling costs, thus making shipping a huge profit center, well... it gets my knickers in a huge wad... Especially when the product itself is cutting a fat hog on the margins. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Couldn't bring myself to pay an additional 16% of sales in shipping costs... emptied my cart and will keep digging. Wooo Hooo! Only 15% of total sales to ship the same thing from Kansas... so, at this rate, I will most likely find a dealer in Sydney Australia who will ship to me for $12!!
