I am wondering how rare is the shoulder belt option?

Want to sell them???? I have them in one of my trucks as a factory option but would like to add them to my 4x4. Brian

ah its not that rare at all! you should give them to me, cuz since they are soo easy to find that they arent even worth anything but seriously, the shoulder belts have got to be one of the rarest options a 67-72 can have

It is up there. Rarest...I dunno, but it is definately ONE of the rarest options.
Personally though, i wouldn't want them. Most states would require you to wear them and they are a PITA. Just ask GMC Junkie. |

Do a search for shoulder belts here, and try to find a thread on the percentage of 10-30 series that came with them; I think the tach dash was like 2-4% of trucks, and the shoulder belts was like 0.02% of trucks, just to give you an idea of how rare they are compared to the rare tach dashes.
A set just sold on ebay the other day for almost $300. They were in nice shape. You got gold there. |
