I have thought about seeing if there was an easy way to make the back hatch window removable. Not technically topless, but would let the breeze flow all the way through.

So some type of quick release pin that would let the back window be taken off and put back on in seconds.

You could replace the window with one similar to the sliding glass on a pickup.

Hey neighbor. We are both in Rockwall. I would like that, but do not have that much ingenuity.

Haven't seen one. But as far as removing the lift gate, it can be locked in the open position. I've found this to be a bad idea. My Sub as with my Nomad have a bad design that actually draws exhaust in though the open life gate.

Side exit tail pipes might solve this problem.

I've never seen a soft top kit for a burb but if you can adapt some blazer bows and brackets a boat upholstery shop can make you one if you have the scratch.
