Easy way to rotate your cab. *May be needed for new cab to frame bushings.
I needed to rotate my cab about 1/4 inch for the new cab-to-frame bushings to align. Dad came up with the idea of using a large "C" clamp and it worked like a charm. We just clamped against a frame rail and then screwed against the rail under the cab.
Big thanks to everyone that gave advice on the new cab-to-frame bushings. I couldn't get them to remotely torque the same so I just hand tightened until snug and then took each one 1 more full turn of the nut. ![]() An old bushing: ![]() New bushing: (did not use the washer supplied with the kit for the cab floor....figured the bolt head would rub holes in the new floor mat). ![]() Last edited by In The Ten Ring; 05-02-2015 at 06:23 PM. |
