what size of wheel?
So I'm thinking of buying some Mickey Thompson classics for my 1975 blazer. She's got a 4 inch lift sitting on 35x12.5x15 stock ralley wheels. I'm going to use my same tires but was wondering should I get a 15x8 or 15x10 wheel?

Re: what size of wheel?
I would go 15x10 these trucks look better with a wider stance and those rims look better deeper only thing you will have to worry about is the tires rubbing

Re: what size of wheel?
While my rims are 11" and second set is 10", I also run a 15.5" wide tire. I personally don't like rims that are close to the width of the tire, looks funny to me. I like to see a fatter sidewall as this helps protect the rim while offroading, it also helps when you air down. More than that, I think it just looks better.
So I'd have to go with a 15x8 for the tire size you currently have. If you are towing more than anything, I think the wider 10" handles the weight better. Here is my father truck with 35x12.5 on 10" rims. Next one is my truck with 38x15.5 on 11" rims.

Re: what size of wheel?
Nice blazer, yeah after looking at mine the rear of the front tire is a little too close to run a wider wheel

Re: what size of wheel?
These are 15x10 MT with 35 x 12.5 tires.
I prefer the 15 x 8's or 15 x 9's if possible. 15 x 10's allows just a little too much rim exposure for my liking. How do you like the look on the 15 x 8 rally wheels??

Re: what size of wheel?
Ski me and Lowrodder, what lift are you guys using on your trucks with the 35's? That, and how tall are they at the roof? I am getting ready to lift my '74 Jimmy, just not sure if I want to do 33's or 35's. It needs to fit in the garage with the top off, ideally.

With the 2.5" lift I do rub on the inner front fenders when turning and hitting a bump. Can be driven without rubbing but only on the street. Off road, I'd be hitting a lot more!

Re: what size of wheel?
Mine will probably be a mall crawler too. I can't afford the Trans Am I want, and the top comes off of the Jimmy, so it will do for now. Being 4WD, it has to go up. I will be running 3/4 ton axles, so I haven't bought wheels/tires just yet. I was figuring 16x10 wheels, and either a 33/12.50 or 35/12.50 BFG (probably All Terrain). Really going for looks at this point. Your truck looks great the way it is set up. I really figured it was a 4" lift.
