8" superlift springs
I just put a set of 8" Superlift springs on my 72 Jimmy and the rear sags a little over 2"? Has anybody experienced the rear sagging on Superlift springs? The springs are brand new.
Another question swapping to 3/4 ton axles. I am assuming I will have to lengthen the rear drive shaft? I have one that fits the front but haven't swapped out the 14 bolt yet. |

Haven't used super lift but I did a shackle flip in the rear and a four inch spring lift in the front. I also wound up with that dog dragging his butt on the carpet stance. I added a new set of 2" lift springs in the rear for a total of six inches to level her out. From what I've read most guys wind up with a saggy butt as the tops weigh a ton. The extra lift in the rear goes between one and two inches to get a level stance.

Depending on the springs and the amount of gear and whether you have the top on or not is the deciding factors. I used pro comp rear springs with heavy duty springs and it sits level. With my heavy from bumper it does push the front down a bit to compensate what the rear does though.
