oil pressure
Just changed my oil,,,,put in Castrol GTX 20w50. Oil pressure before was @2k rpm,@ 23lbs,,,now at @ 3k rpm,,,,only 25lbs. If I pump it up to around 4k rpm,,,still only about 35lbs,,,,hummm,,,maybe go back to another oil,,,,put some ristlone lead additive in the oil,,,,would that make the difference in oil pressure? Maybe go back to the 5w30? Jeeez,,,don't know,,,,Its a 350/ with 305 heads,,,,runs strong,,,valve seals need to be replaced,,,but doesn't smoke that bad,,,

The GTX is a good oil I wouldn't worry too much.

Whew!!!!! worried there for abit. I'll leave it alone for abit, and see how it runs,,,thanks for the reply,,,been awhile since driving a '69 vehicle,,,,,LOL
