compatible blazer parts?

I just picked up a 75 2wd blazer that needs some parts...was thinking about upgrading the front clip and power doors/tailgate.... When looking online for parts I find a nice looking 91 k5 with EVERYTHING I need! So I just need to know if all the parts are compatible? Thanks in advance and any help will be greatly appreciated!! p_pese@yahoo.com

Re: compatible blazer parts?

The tailgate bolts on, no issues there. I saw someone here mention a different style window regulator being used on earlier models, so you may need different regulators but the wiring and switches could be used. The front clip can be used, you'll need the wiper assembly off the newer truck. I think the front frame horns were different on the earlier trucks but can be cut or trimmed to fit the newer clip. The short answer is yes, you can make it work.

Re: compatible blazer parts?

Thanks for the info...but the window regulators? It wouldn't make a difference as far as fitting a 91 door on a 75 body...unless your saying that the window regulator on a 91 changes the door frame so that would need to be mod to fit the 75? Of I could just cut the window frame and bolt on?

Re: compatible blazer parts?

If you're bolting up the entire door, you're good.
