Just like the title says. I'm looking for some ideas on what would look good in a gold truck. I haven't been able to find any pictures. thanks

Guessing the factory gold paint isn't in the plan?
You going to use/thinking painted (body color?), chrome or stainless strips? Might run through this thread and links for ideas. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=6640145

I'm thinking the request is for clear/stained finishes. You know how beautiful it will look. You don't need pictures, just do it!

Exactly right. I'm mostly trying to decide if a lighter tone or darker tone would look best (to me anyway) against the Medium Gold. I find all kinds of pictures of most other colors when I search the interwebs. But no gold trucks. I was hoping someone might have something in there pic collection.

There don't seem to be too many Gold trucks. The woodgrain in the factory trim looks great with Medium Gold Poly

Along the lines of these two dark colors would be my choice. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...0&postcount=29 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...5&postcount=40 They look great and remind me of the old timer's, who preserved their bedwood with used motor oil. Just like dadslonghorn's original wood was and still is.
