Re: 1977 Blazer on cl not mine
That was a nice Blazer...I've bought many vehicles from Calif. n Oregon n Nevada...never from Az...just how bad does the sun cook these things?Does it kill the interior to the point that it needs replaced or just died?I look at them all the time but never been lucky to get one yet! Just asking...thanks

Re: 1977 Blazer on cl not mine
It completely cooks door panels so no dying them at all. I saw this Blazer posted too. The ad was pulled and relisted for double the price. It looked good from the pictures and I was considering purchasing for the original $1800 it was posted. If it was a Jimmy, I would already own it!

The dash is what I was surprised to see in such good shape, they usually have large cracks here in the desert, like this week will be 114 so you can imagine what the inside will get.
I think this one was saved since it appears there was a dash-mat on it.

Re: 1977 Blazer on cl not mine
The dash mat helps but even that doesn't totally protect them. My 77 was a Colorado truck and had a dashmat and still had cracks. It wasn't totally cooked like most of them here but far from perfect
