Sorry To Beat A Dead Horse But What Mounts
I've done some searching with no luck... I've found 100 LS Mounts to put a 5.3/4l60 in our 1972 Suburban but I want to keep the low Mount Air compressor. Doing the swap 4th of July weekend and have everything I Need Except mount/tower. Thanks in

I used the ECE motor mounts and I have my a/c compressor mounted in the stock location. You need a 90 degree connector block on the compressor that points the fittings toward the clutch instead of straight up.

Whats up with the welds on the side of the header primary, did you build your own? Or am I just looking at it weird.

Those were stamped steel exhaust manifolds from an early Camaro/Firebird LS-1 that they welded the two halves together and then welded to stubs in the flanges. They have since been replaced with tri-y headers

I made these mounts on a drill press and set the stock engine stands back to the six cylinder position. I had to cut and weld the "bumps" on the top to make it clear my exhaust manifolds - see my write up here. I later learned that I could have used a set of '73-'87 engine stands and mounts with the same adapter setup and had more header clearance without the welding.

Oh they were the stamped sheetmetal Fbody manifolds. Gotcha. They looked too chrome-y to be stock manifolds in that pic.
