Cool random c10 4x4 I saw today.

Im a nurse and often have to travel to different cities. Saw this in the front of a house and had to stop and ask about it. Ol lady said it was her husbands and he raced it back in the seventies. Husband was not home but she said its been sitting in the same spot for years and he would never let it go. She was a pleasant woman and was nice enough to let me take some pics. I thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share the pics here.

Seems pretty straight and should make someone a good restoration project. Too bad he won't sell but I can't say I blame him. Looks like Armstrong True Tracs on it. Haven't seen those for many years. I ran a set of those many years ago. Great forward traction but too rounded and they would slip too easily on a sidehill.

Funny the bottle opener is the 1st thing I spotted, cool truck, looks like it has sat for quite a few years. Hope someone gets it back on the road..

Yeah the bottle opener was a nice touch. I especially liked the old race decals on the glove box from all the race events he entered in 1970s.
I left my number, I don't think Ill be getting get a call back. Sure is a waste sitting there.

Probably been sitting 30 years or more. Those wheels ain't so chrome any more. I wonder if the plaques that fell off (from glue cooking away) are laying on the floor. It looks pretty stock, but I imagine the motor was something special. I'd like to help they guy fix it up. It would have to be all his money, though! Probably the problem right there

Even though it's not for sale right now, you were able to find out the story behind it and share some cool pic's with us.

I love finding trucks like this and talking to the owner. The old timers always have great stories. I could tell this truck meant a lot to their family.

Thats a sweet truck. Apparently he liked listening to a wide variety of tunes, since it has a factory am/fm!
