69 c10 longbed to short
Ok, I have a 69 long bed that I want to shorten. Was wondering if there are any pics of only cutting the front 12 inches from the bedsides? Kinda didn't want to deal with the rear body lines due to the slope on the rear of the bed. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 69 c10 longbed to short
There was one floating around here..and tbh it looked odd. Think the thread might have been about creating a "schlong" truck..or in between long and short.

The 4x4 one would be good for those rock climbing competitions it would be almost standing vertical before the bumper ever touched the ground ,,,

Re: 69 c10 longbed to short
Sorry 19673ontree, looking for the opposite. Cut short on the front of bed to fit short frame and leave back of bed long. Thank you.

Re: 69 c10 longbed to short
You would have to cut the frame or move the axles...if you cut the bed from the front, the wheel wells will not match with the frame and axles.
