Question SPID help needed ...

Glove box door SPID sheet below. How do you like those thumb prints? Looks to have taken a beating when the paint was changed to carolina blue.

Can see the ones on the right. Light green, painted rear bumper. The heavy duty rear & auxiliary rear springs are still present. Those make sense since this was a NC farm truck. The other three on the left are a mystery to me. Thanks!

Re: SPID help needed ...

Auxiliary spring equipment and green vinyl trim. I'm guessing full foam seat is middle option

Re: SPID help needed ...

Ahhh ... green vinyl trim and full foam seat. Got it. Vinyl trim would be armrest and dash pads?

Re: SPID help needed ...

Vinyl trim I believe just applies to the seat? But it would include armrests and dash pad

Re: SPID help needed ...

I'm wondering what the paint stripe option is?

Re: SPID help needed ...

D89 is a painted double stripe near the top of the body side that goes from front to back.

Edit: here is a thread with pictures: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ad.php?t=97853

Great! Bet that is the color my truck was originally. Wish it still was. At least the PO did a good job changing it to carolina blue. Have to really look to find any original light green paint. Wonder what this old farm truck looked like when the PO pulled it out of the barn after sitting forgotten for over 25 years. Least I still have the '69 farm truck tags.

Re: SPID help needed ...

GRX, the paint code on your SPID looks like 503 to me. Light Green is the correct description for paint code 503. Here are a few links to 503 light green trucks. 503 Light Green was available on 67-69 Chevys and GMCs. It was also available prior to 1967.
