Re: Grudge race 7/11
Good luck . May i suggest double checking the flow on both kits and dry fire it and ensure the timing is actually being pulled while the motor is running . Sounds fun though . 300 is getting serious . The top dragster has 2 300 kits on it .

Re: Grudge race 7/11
How far in do you hit the second kit, or is it progressive?
My nitrous experience (ok, automotive nitrous at least ) on LS motors has always yielded a shocking spike in torque, far more than I would have guessed, like 110-120% of what the shot was.

Re: Grudge race 7/11
Good luck. I hope you don't have the heat we had this weekend. Friday the 3rd the track was 140*. They made us wait 2hours for it to cool down. Just to make 1 qualifier pass. UGH the car coughed off the line. What a waste.

Re: Grudge race 7/11
Hot rod, both stages have been tested on the dyno independently so I know they are in the ball park.
Brew, a 200rwhhp is a 200rwhp hit regardlrss of rpm. Below 5252rpm it always makes more to than hp. Keep in mind, it is a mathmatical l function. Tq×rpm/5252=hp.. it is easily figured in reverse. Hp×5252/rpm=tq. 200hp×5252/3500rpm=300ftlbs N20=instant torque Buldr, heat is to keep it mellow till 8pm or so..

Re: Grudge race 7/11
1st kit with 100 hit - 50% out of the hole all in by .5 seconds
+ 2nd kit with 200 hit - 30% out of the hole all in by 1.5 seconds Should have put more kit in it from the hit as it dead hooked. Melted a hole in the N20 line due to the exhaust flame somewhere around the 1100-1200' mark so it was down on 1/4 mph. There is more in it everywhere with that tune up as I have timing fairly conservative. It has been 1.35 60' previously and It went 144mph with 116mph at the 1/8 on a different pass last night. I'm thinking 118mph at the 1/8 might have netted 145-146 mph. Have to find out another day.

Re: Grudge race 7/11
Going to work the 300 hit out before I turn it up any more. Once it goes 9.0x on thus hit, I will do what I need to to get it in the 8's.

Re: Grudge race 7/11
It will happen,, just like all women she is gonna make you work for it
Almost a 1.3x sixty on drag radials, in a TRUCK is simply astounding,, I'd say you guys got the chassis pretty sorted out. ,, now to find that pesky controller issue!! Congrats buddy, Every time you go to the track you are in dire need of updating the signature.

Re: Grudge race 7/11
There are several videos and pics of the truck on my facebook. I appreciate all the coverage I get from friends
https://www.facebook.com/shaun.liddy.9 The truck doesn't bog with the loose converter. One pass I did peddle it briefly. Looking at the data logger, I need to make some form of change. 7,100 = 144.5mph - I don't want to spin it much past 7,200-7,300 and I think I need 150mph to reach my goal comfortably. 150mph would put me at roughly 7,400rpm. I feel the verter is a pinch loose on the unit. 1-2 shift is 6,900 and recovery is 6,300. Out of the hole it flashes to 5,700-6,000 depending on how fast I ramp the N20 in. I will be pulling the verter this weekend to send it out.
