Reunited and it feels so good
About 12 years ago my dad sold is 63 C-10 fleetside short bed. I remember riding around in this truck as a little boy and was trying to drive it to high school when he sold it. Unfortunately he had to sell it to purchase a new lawn mower back in 2004. 12 years later I am on craigslist and I find a 63 C-10 fleetside. I decided to check it out because I am an antique lover. Well low and behold, IT WAS MY DADS OLD TRUCK!!! The guy was asking $2200 for it and it hadn't changed since my dad sold it. Same 350 and 350 trans....even the old Corolla seats he put in it to get him by. I called the guy and he said his phone hadn't stop ringing since he listed it and had a bunch of people wanting to come look at it. I politely asked the guy if he would put me first in line because I really wanted this truck back and to get it back on the road. I went and picked it up and I have been working on it for the past couple weeks now. It runs but I have some issues that need sorting like the transmission leak and misc items to make it road worthy. I plan to drive this truck daily just like my pappy did back in the 90's and hope to pass it down to my kids. Sorry no pics yet!

Great story! Congratulations on getting your dad's truck back. Post pics when you can.

I'll try! I can't do it from my phone too easily.
