71 chev 12 bolt diff swap into 66 c20, panhard bar issues

I just finished installing a 71 chevy 12 bolt into my 66 3/4 ton, I have converted it to a 1/2 ton now. My issue is the panhard bar doesn't fit, the mounting location on the diff is on the rh upper part of the center housing, looks like a stud. What do most do to fix this, move the mount on the frame back to make it work, or do they heat and bend it to the proper location. The truck has 3" lowering coils on the back. The 2 pc driveshaft does it work with a newer 1/2 ton 12 bolt, I am hoping I can knock the driveshaft forward on the slip joint enough to connect the driveshaft, if not do most swap out for a single piece off a normal 1/2 ton 66 diff.

The best solution on the panhard bar would be to put an adjustable one in it to ensure your centered back up after all the work. I have the ECE long bar and shock relocators in mine. Works very well. If you truck is a long bed the normal 1/2 ton stuff is also 2 piece. I don't know if they were different lengths or not 1/2 to 3/4 ton. This is the track bar I am running. http://www.earlyclassic.com/catalog....20track%20bars

Is there a way to modify this without buying a new pan hard bar, since I just put in new u bolts and reinstalled the diff.

You can either cut the panhard bar mount off of the Eaton HO52 and weld it to your 12 bolt, or just simply put a bend in the frame end of the '71 panhard bar to align with your frame bracket.
