What's done to this suspension?

I'm trying to find out if this stance is doable without bags. Opinions on how they have this truck set up?

Maybe has a mid drop member with coil overs front and rear.

It is hard to tell, but my guess would be an air ride system using the stock crossmember up front. That seems to be the truck aired out. You can have this ride height without bags, but would take a little more work to achieve.

Give us a call and be glad to help you achieve what you are wanting to do and put a plan together for you.

Re: What's done to this suspension?

If that is a static drop,... the lower a-arms are "scarey close" to the ground.
Without a sectioned crossmember, frame Z, or aftermarket Dropmember style, driving a truck that low is sketchy to say the least.

Agreed and was a point I missed and glad you added it. Thanks!

Re: What's done to this suspension?

So what's the lowest level drop that can be done without messing up the ride(too much), or having to use bags? It's a 67 stepside, & just trying to get the lowest I can under the circumstances.

4.5/6 is a good streetable drop.

Re: What's done to this suspension?

lolife, I was told these trucks were about 3" higher in the back. To get it as level as possible, I'd have to drop the back to 7 (lowest kit I've seen is 4/6). I don't mind putting in a bolt on c-notch, but there shouldn't be any other real issues with putting a 1 inch block on the back as well right?

Re: What's done to this suspension?

No issue at all.
My suggestion is you start somewhere and add to it.
Do a 4.5/6 and if you don't like it, add a 1 inch block.
Sometimes it's hard to get all the info up front.
Plus what I like, you may not.
Find a truck you like on here and duplicate the drop.
Tire size will change the stance also.

Re: What's done to this suspension?

This is a 4.5/6 ECE drop with staggered 20's.
