Shop Manual or Factory Truck Assembly Manual
I can't find my old 1960 Shop Manual and came across some Factory Truck Assembly Manuals for sale. The Shop Manual is for 1960 only, the Factory Truck Assembly Manual is for '60 - '66. Any opinions on which one is better?

Re: Shop Manual or Factory Truck Assembly Manual
Get both.....Both have tons of different info. The assembly book is mostly part #s and diagrams. The shop manual is what GM issued its mechanics to service the vehicles and goes into great detail on many jobs.

Re: Shop Manual or Factory Truck Assembly Manual
I use the shop manual to answer questions for others, and gave away my assembly manual to someone else that might find more use for it.
