need a GMC 305 V6 in St. Louis

A friend of mine asked me today if I still had that GMC V6 305 that I took out of a 61 Truck, 6-7 years ago... well of course not, I tried to sell it to him or give it to him and he declined so I dumped it. Too bad it ran great and only had 75,000 miles. well anyway his forklift has this motor and its shot, I told him I would ask on the board for him, so if you got one laying around let me know. Thanks

Try the parts board.
Is he willing to travel to aquire one? How about rebuilding one? I have access to at least 2 of them here, but they have sat in junk yards for a while.

Here's one on eBay, this one even has the plaid valve covers which are sought after (made for one year only), these motors are few and far and between....

There is a '66 GMC here on base for sale that has the V6 305 4sp.
A Colonel is selling it, asking 6,000. Nice looking truck with the wood bed. I could a couple of pics if anyone might be interested.
