Re: 9 second Apache
Did ya know We got one of those right here as a member of the board. Shaun ran 9.24 last weekend with his E-85 fueled LSx Shaun does it legally with all of the required SFI bars, suit and everything. Running low 9's without a properly supported cage is kinda like unprotected sex with a $20 hooker,, not a 'really goood idea'
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=679656 My pile was running 10.4's in 5000' air, in street trim through the mufflers and on DOT stickeys,, all SBC all motor (we donnn need no stinking N2o!!! ). But it's racing days are coming to an end and it's getting retired and a fresh little 383 street motor. I pushed the rules far enough with no rearward support for the cage. So it's getting slowed down to 11.50+ to be legal (and safe)

I just did my taxes and reviewed my SS statement. Thanks to the current administration it looks like I will only have to work till noon on the day of my funeral. |
