You don't say what year your truck is, so It may or may not be helpful for you to know that the new Hooker 73-87 GM truck swap system leaves no components hanging below the frame rails.

What is your trans angle at? You might be able to lift the trans a bit to get more clearance.

Re: 4L80E pan hangs below frame
you need pix of the pan hanging lower than the frame? lol i'll snap some tonight and get a rough measurement.
havent checked angles yet, but i need to soon so i can get my driveshaft shortened once my new spicer slip yoke comes in. im running all cpp stuff with the ES poly mounts....i guess i could call them and see if they might know roughly how the drivetrain sits. i do know....that if i have to raise the trans some....it'll be time for a high hump cuz i had to flatten the lip out to make the trans clear with how far back it is now. btw, hart_rod.....havent scanned enough to find a legit answer but suggestions on where to run the dbw pedal harness thru the firewall once your bracket is bolted in...which looks noice btw.... |

Re: 4L80E pan hangs below frame
I used a aftermarket tubular cross member and had to use about a 2.5" spacer to get my drive line angle correct.
So don't get too upset until you get your angle set. I remember looking at my pan thinking "there is no way this is going to work like this"
