I used Mother's "Billet" polish on my Eagle 212's and they look like glass. This product can be used on several different metals.

I've got the same wheels on my 76 and I've always used 0000 steel wool and mothers alum polish which gives good results but takes a lot of time.
I'm gonna try something new next time.I've got a small belt sander that takes about a 14 in belt. I'm gonna try jacking up the front end on one side and slide the sander under the tire, then lower the tire back down on it and let the sander spin the wheel while I polish with the steel wool pad. Good Luck Tom

My aluminum wheels were badly pitted, so I sandblasted them, and now I'm in the process of wet-sanding them(starting to look real shiny and smooth) then Im going to buff em to a crome-likw finish and spray em with clear to keep em shiny.
