Guys with rallies GITT

Planning to 5/7 drop my 86 on rallies. I was told in order to avoid rubbing inner fender the best sizes to use are 15 x 6 in the front and 15 x 8 in the back. Is this the best and preferred way by most? Thanks

Van ralleys up front (15x6.5's) are the easiest to find & run up front w/o issue. 7" would be the better choice but seem to be harder to find. The most common 8" units out back fit w/zero issues. Aftermarket 15x10" wheels w/5"bs can be purchased through Wheel Vintiques (Summit distributes them) to really fill the rear wells up.

Tire sizes should be kept <28" up front as well. 215/70's yield just under 27"h or 215/75's @ 27.7"h

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
