WTB: 1972 cowl with factory antenna cut out.
I need a cowl to fit my 1972 truck, this time, without rust! God bless the forum member that gave me one, he was helping me out, but I just got it back from the media blaster (who used crushed glass) and it was too far gone....I counted 18 holes in it where people will see.
So, I need another cowl (OEM or NOS). *This is the part with the vents that sits between windshield and hood. I'd be willing to drive a couple of states away for it or pay to ship it, in a wooden crate, and I'll pay extra for that too. |

I have a small pile of them. I'll look for one with a factory hole. I'll be headed to Southeast WVa in October if thats helpful.

Here you go it is either NOS or blasted and painted I can't tell but I don't see clamp marks from screws or washers so I am leaning towards NOS. I got this in a lot purchase that had a bunch of NOS stuff so it is possible but again I really don't know.

I've got one I'd be willing to crate and ship. I'd let it go $40 + Shipping

He'll need pictures of the back side. That's where the surface rust is an issue. This is one body part you shouldn't need to look across the country for. They don't "rust out", they get surface rust. Off all these trucks I have owned here in the rust belt I have never had to replace one

So 1Rippen6, who much will this run me?
*All the others, thanks a ton. I need to get up 1Rippen6's way anyway and I can dovetail these two things together. |
