Vss
I have a aftermarket harness for my 5.3 700r4 swap in my 63 gmc that has a two wire connector for VSS. do I need to have a VSS hooked up to run the 700r4? if so where does the sensor go? thanks.

Re: Vss
It can help with the lock up converter control, but other than that, a 700R4 is mechanical.

Re: Vss
Yes I'm aware of that...I guess what I'm asking is. .... does the pcm need to have a vss signal in order for the motor to function properly? Right now I can't get WOT it's acting like it's starving for fuel....
