I have a fuel cell and using basically the same setup you are wanting to use and have for 11,000 miles. I think the inline pump is a little noisy compared to the tank pump but I can live with it.

Re: lmc under bed tank work with fuel injection
Well I plan on running straight pipes dumped before the rear wheels on a 5.3 or 6.0 so I don't think noise will be an issue. Is the 60-66 sender sufficient to handle the ls?

Re: lmc under bed tank work with fuel injection
your sending unit doesn't effect the LS Engine. It is controlled by electricity , Ohm's to be exact

Re: lmc under bed tank work with fuel injection
I initially used an in-line walbro 220 ml pump and had several issues. I ended up using a fuel cell and purchasd an in-tank pump assembly from tanks inc. It came with the same walbro pump that is submerged and works like a charm. The pump works better when it is submerged in the tank. The tank you purchased should work with this assembly with no problem. I ordered the PA 4 model. http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/pa...prod/prd84.htm

Re: lmc under bed tank work with fuel injection
I used 65 GTO tank with fillup through back bumper.
http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/pa...rod/prd378.htm Be sure what ever tank you use, that it has baffles to keep pump from running dry on hard cornering. |

Re: lmc under bed tank work with fuel injection
I used the LMC under bed, side fill tank. Cut a hole in the top, installed 2003 Silverado fuel pump, and made a ring to bolt on around the pump. No need for baffles since it is a pump used in a tank with no baffles and it is quiet and should be reliable. I have only had it running for a couple months, but I have had 0 issues with that so far.

Re: lmc under bed tank work with fuel injection
I'm working on this now i'm trying the same route as typesl2 there is a company that sells the correct sending unit for most pumps with a 0-90 ohm signal. So i'm planning on using the sending unit from the newer pump with the stock gauge. Herko is the name of the company if you are interested they cost around $25.
