Stainless steel full length headers 1 3/4 primary
I'm looking for a set of these for my 69 2wd C10. The truck has a turbo 350 trans. I'm putting a 383 in it that will be over 500 hp. A 1 5/8 will cover part of the exhaust port on the cylinder heads so I can't use them. Who makes set of these? It looks like Hedman and Hooker only make 1 5/8". The truck is not lowered.

Re: Stainless steel full length headers 1 3/4 primary
Do any forum members have the ones mentioned in the post above by twisted78ss on their truck? Do the collectors dump directly in front of the trans cross member? How do you have your exhausts routed?
Doug's doesn't make a header for our trucks and stainless works is like Hooker and Hedman, only 1 5/8 are offered.

Re: Stainless steel full length headers 1 3/4 primary
I don't want ls series engine headers, I want them for a gen 1 small block. They only offer 1 5/8 for it.

Re: Stainless steel full length headers 1 3/4 primary
You're not looking hard enough...
http://www.summitracing.com/search/d...rder=Ascending However... I doubt you're going to find stainless. But HOOKER and HEDMAN bioth make SBC headers for these trucks with 1 3/4" primaries. Ceramic coated will run you about $500 to $800 bucks. Gary

Re: Stainless steel full length headers 1 3/4 primary
I was fortunate enough to grab mine from Hart_Rob, this thread should give an idea of how they fit on his 68 with a SBC.
