Quick swap question (trans)
So I'll be swapping an LS2 into my truck and will be doing a 4l80 most likely. Will that trans clear a stock low hump cab, or will I need to do a lot of trans tunnel mods? I'm also kind of in the market for a cab since mine is really far gone, I may have a lead on a high hump so if that would work out better then I might more actively peruse that direction. Thanks everyone.

Re: Quick swap question (trans)
I am in process of swapping a 6.0l and 4l80E and it fits nicely. The only tricky part so far has been getting the shift linkage hooked up, which I was able to do with Lokar ACA 1800 kit. I had to kink the rod to clear the Gibson headers though. The next issue is the parking brake cable, it crosses over thru the top of the transmission. Still working on this one.

sweet, that's good to hear. I see you're not terribly far from me, I'm up in Fairfax, dated a girl that lived off of 288 & 60 down there. Maybe one day we can meet up and I can check out your ride and see what I'm getting myself into.

Re: Quick swap question (trans)
Sounds good. I am itching to get it running and back on the road. Been collecting dust for the last 6 years while I was remodeling my current house. I got motivated to start back on it again when I came across a good deal on 6.0L and trans from a friend that did want to deal with fuel injection. He pulled it from a wrecked van with less than 40K miles.
