4" Lowering Springs
Are any of you guys familiar with these springs? I bought these and the wire diameter is a lot smaller than stock. My concern is how they fit in factory spring retainers. The part number is GH9171

You'd be better off purchasing from a company that many have had good experiences with. For all you know, those could be rated for car weight.
I recommend early classic enterprises. However, there's other companies out there as well. |

Re: 4" Lowering Springs
I was checking out "Gearhead Enterprises" after I Googled the part number from that pic provided.
The first hit that came up on Google for "Gearhead Enterprises" is from the BBB. It appears this company had quite a few claims filed against them for poor customer service. Gary

Re: 4" Lowering Springs
I saw that too, after I already purchased them. They have an "F" on BBB.
Lessons learned on my end. The way I see it is it cost them more than it cost me. I'm out $85, but I have many more parts to buy that won't be coming from them. |

Re: 4" Lowering Springs
Saving can mean cheap, smart play as mentioned to check out a supplier first, I have learned the hard way before, nothing beats a good name brand. So now you have to buy a Chevelle to install them into.
