Ordered new plates

So last Monday, the 26th of October, I went to the DMV and ordered up personalized plates for BIG RED. After choosing the plate style (we have close to 25 styles) and what I wanted that wasn't already taken, I plopped down my $35.00 and was told not to expect them for at least 12 weeks.

I get home from work today and I find these in my mail.......

Same here, it's an extra $45 every year plus the already high registration fees. as if my property taxes weren't high enough.

Re: Ordered new plates

I believe ours went to $75 per year plus the other regular fees .I turned the one I had back in and opted for a total of $20 with fees.

Re: Ordered new plates

I like that!! Here's mine. The state plate itself is pretty boring. I wanted BIG RED, but it was taken too.

Maybe someday we'll be able to get new personalized plates again in Indiana.

Re: Ordered new plates

Those are awesome and for the price WOW!

Up here I'm sure they are over 100 bucks, I never had anything unique enough to consider getting them...until now Actually I would like to try and find some original 78 plates but I know that will cost well over 200 bucks I'm sure.
