If it was done like mine, they just made it out of some curved side pieces, and a big flat square center, and then slathered it with lead.

I had thought that they used sub parts, or should have, until I found out how tall a sub roof is above the drip rail- compared to a truck.
These pics of cut down subs kind of show how the shortening exaggerates the height of the sub roof crown.
