Need help installing rear sport bumper
Just removed the ugly rear step bumper.
Got the sport bumper and new brackets, I cant figure out where the brackets go, im pretty certain the straight one goes inside the frame, it looks like the slightly curved brackets will go on the outside of the frame.....but thats where the plates are that hold up the rear springs and their riveted. Am I missing something? |

Re: Need help installing rear sport bumper
There should be approx 2" of frame further rear of the suspension brackets which are indeed riveted. On this furthest aft section of frame is where the outer brackets are bolted to the outside of the frame; same holes as were used for the step bumper. Let me know if you need a picture and I'll grab one later.
