You don't need a new housing. All you need is the drive gear, driven gear, and driven gear housing. The tailhousing is the same. Bowtie can probably help or if you have a friendly parts guy at your local GM dealership. Just get parts for an '87 C10 with 700R4 and whatever reareend ratio and tires you have.
