Body Swapping Question
Ok so I just had a 1977 2wd frame set up with custom fabricated four link system and I am thinking of using a late model 85-89 blazer 4wd body so I can have and updated truck. My question is can I mate the later model 4wd body to the 77 frame?

Re: Body Swapping Question
Frames should be the same.. So you should be good.. I know the frames are different between the full and half tops.. I think the frames are the same though.. Not sure what you would get though in swapping frames. the body other than the front clip is pretty much the same. Interior is almost the same I think there was some new electronics but you aren't going to get a lot out of the swap..

Re: Body Swapping Question
77 was the last year of the early rear floor. Seems like one of the rear body mounts is a little different, but will probably swap just fine.

Re: Body Swapping Question
I put a 78 body on a 82 frame everything lined up just fine. No problems.
