Pedal bumpers?

On the bracket that is part of the brake box, when you sneak a peek under the dash, there are two rectangular holes or slots that line up with the pedals (just the brake in my case).

Are there supposed to be pedal bumpers there? If so, mine are long gone, and I don't see them in catalogs.

Or are they for some accessory mounting perhaps?

Re: Pedal bumpers?

Nope, it's for a rubber bump stop, just like you expected. It keeps the pedals from contacting metal to metal.

Re: Pedal bumpers?

Try LMC. Search for 30-3150. It's a clutch pedal bumper. I think it should be the same as the brake bumper since the mounting holes are the same. Page 50 of the online catalog.

Re: Pedal bumpers?

Thanks! Didn't think to look up "clutch"! Having the part number helps too :-)
