72 Door Vent window Dimple

Any one have any experience adding the dimple to the 68-71 door ? I have a line on a nice 71 door for my 72 but would like to keep the dimple.

Just use a dimple installer.... j/k..

If you drill a hole a little smaller than you want to end up with then take a shallow angle center punch and gently tap it into the hole you might have good results. The ideal thing would be to hold some kind of backer behind it to keep from indenting too big of an area. A piece of wood might even work.

Ive seen people cut the dimple out of a rotten 72 and then cut the non 72 and weld that piece in.
