heater core tubing braces
I received the new heater core but the braces did not come with it, does anyone have a spare set or know where I can buy a set? calling the company where I bough it is useless.

Re: heater core tubing braces
I thought these were like hen's teeth to find?
And aren't they different 60-63 and 64-66? |

Re: heater core tubing braces
OK I stopped by NAPA and they did a quick search - they have nothing close that they can get, BUT they did a wildcard search on eBay and they are called 'Chevy Inner Fender Heater Hose Brackets.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/55-56-Chevy-...NTjqPW&vxp=mtr I'd never call them that, that's why I could not find them.

Re: heater core tubing braces
Jake. If I remember correctly didn't you retrofit a '64-'66 heater core into your deluxe heater box? In this case the factory heater tube support will not work without modification. The part in the link on ebay might work to tie them together, but it will not support them to the heater box.

Re: heater core tubing braces
I was thinking about the same thing. I think i'm going to have to add an 'L' brace to the fitting sorta like u did for the antenna brace.

Re: heater core tubing braces
Fabricating the bracket is a safe bet. I replaced the stock heater core with an after market one and the copper tubes sat so low I had to fab a new support.
