'59 Fleetside inner rear wheel house?
Hey Guys-
Question: Will the '60 - '66 fleetside inner rear wheel housings work/fit on a '59 fleetside without any modification? I am not doing a 100 point restoration, so originality is not my concern. Mine are kind of beat up and not in the best shape.....so just wondering, unless someone is reproducing the '59 rear inner wheel housings, will a '60-'66 wheel house fit? Thanks Tod |

First I'd snoop though the 60/66 board if you haven't yet to get an idea of what the wheel tubs are like. Or do some looking in the beds of trucks that you can find either at wrecking yards or at a show.
Outside of making new holes for the bolts you can probably put a set of those or ones for a 67/72 in and few will know the difference if there is a difference.

the 60-66 has a rounded top and looks real close so it may fit with a little work

Re: '59 Fleetside inner rear wheel house?
Just today I was quoted $177 CDN per side for replacement tubs for my 59 fleetside/wideside. They must be available in your area? Most of the stuff is either made or imported through the US before it come to Canada I'd say.

CDN is short for Canadian.
I see Mar K has some edge pieces for the tubs too.

Re: '59 Fleetside inner rear wheel house?
I've seen at least two on line places that listed them for sale for just under 200$ USD each.
I'll see if I can nail them down for you.

don't believe that they will work with no mods. they WON'T. the strips for the wood isn't in the same place. you will have to cut the ends and relocate the strip locaters to line up with the originals. I've seen the ads for the 59s, but those weren't available when I did mine.
