T56 454..Can Be Done! Creatively

I did this back in December , been driving it for a few months.. Any questions, or desire for photos to see more what to do let me know

Things I needed... Modified throwout bearing to mechanical, ( you may like hydralic) , quick time bellhousing for 168 tooth flywheel ( external balance is not in 153 tooth)modified /fabricated length and mount on clutch fork, weld and custom make bell crank, and get the clutch for 26 spline on 11" for 168 tooth fw

I have been wanting to do the same thing but put it behind my 8.1L. From what I read everything in the back is the same as the 454.... I just have too many irons in the fire right now to start it.

Yea. kinda hurt at the time to buy an expensive bell housing and rig it like that, but it paid off.. I modified it to accept the t5 shifter forward, so I saved $400 for a shifter conversion.
