Re: stolen truck 70 c10 stepside in norwalk ca
Just as it happened with all the muscle cars we'll now see the serious need to install GPS trackers and ignition / battery disabling theft deterants to your old truck before this happens to you ! As the costs to rebuild climb so will the theft reports . Sad but true .There have been more than a few stories of complete towing rigs ,truck 2 car hauler and 2 showcars ...GONE right from the hotel parking lot ,Also a Truck and large enclosed custom bike trailer carrying 5 custom built Harleys on their way to Daytona ...GONE...

There isn't a hole deep enough for the kind of scumbag that would steal a guy's truck.

Sorry to hear about your truck. I hope it turns up.
This ain't nothin' new. These trucks have been getting stolen and it sucks!! I get a chill every time I see a new thread. I always pray the common S.O.B.s meet with their comeuppance.

Damn. That sucks. Hope you find it. I live in norwalk also. Makes me a little nervous. I'll keep an eye out. Did you look in the one ways? I found a stolen car there once.

Re: stolen truck 70 c10 stepside in norwalk ca
That truly does suck! I too will keep an eye out down this way also.
Many years ago, my truck was stolen when it was parked in front of my GF's (now wife) apartment. I was lucky though. I "found it" before I even knew that it had been stolen. We were returning from being out of town for a week or so. It was late, like 2AM or so. We were about 2 blocks from her place, and I had to do a double take..."Hey, what the heck is my truck doing parked in that lot???!!!!" Cops said most likely just a couple kids out for a joyride. Wouldn't start so I had it towed to my (future) brother-in-laws house. That was about 25 years ago. I still have her....well, both of them! I hope you find her!
