Finished 383 Stroker
I finally got the engine finished.
Should I remove the Labels that came with the truck new or just leave them? the (How to use the Jack) and the (Pollution Diagram) ones. I will need a complete paint Job (The Darkest Black Cherry) I can find. But I need to save up 2k first and they may take a year. Thanks for not Laughing the past 2 years while all this stuff has been going on. |

Re: Finished 383 Stroker
Nice, but the headers really stand out next to all the shiney stuff. $2k for a paint job is cheap!!! And yes I'd remove the stickers.

Re: Finished 383 Stroker
Dumb question, I have what I believe to be the same radiator as you. Those two mounts at the top DO NOT hold mine very securely at all. How well secured is yours?

Re: Finished 383 Stroker
I put 3 new rubber holders on the bottom so when I tighten the 2 top mounts they hold real tight. But I'm going to have a sheet of stainless steel bent across the whole top edge then have it bolt down to hold it. I have a friend with a Break so I just have to buy a piece of steel.
